  • Audience-Facing Touchpoints

We don’t wait for our audience to come to us. We meet them where they already are. We show up in all the places where culture and care intersect.

This is how our community interacts with us today:

Audience-Facing Touchpoints

Website

The heart of the brand. This is our digital home for trusted, culturally aligned health and lifestyle-driven content. It's where people come to read, watch, learn, and take action.

Social Media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X)

Our cultural front door. These channels help us reach younger, mobile-first audiences with relatable, everyday content that informs without preaching.

BDO TV / YouTube

A growing destination for video-led storytelling. This is where we host everything from expert interviews to original series.

Newsletters

A high-trust, direct line to our audience. We're already seeing strong engagement and have opportunities to deepen personalisation and segmentation here.

Podcasts

A newer space for us. This is an opportunity to bring in diverse Black voices and deliver long-form value through conversations, storytelling, and expert commentary.

Events & Festivals

Live, in-person engagement remains a powerful tool. We can have health fairs, speaker series, or co-branded activities. Events help us connect on a deeper, communal level.

Print (Magazine)

Though used sparingly, print still holds weight, especially among legacy audiences. It gives the brand a tangible presence in clinics, barbershops, salons, and homes.

AI Chatbot

A new frontier for making information personalized and accessible 24/7, especially for users navigating symptoms or seeking culturally specific advice in the moment.

“Find a Black Doctor” Tool

A high-value utility that bridges the gap between information and action. There’s untapped potential in expanding this to include mental health professionals, alternative healers, and Black-owned wellness services.

Streaming Content (Original series)

As we evolve into a more media-driven brand, the expansion into streaming series allows us to tell deeper, more narrative-rich stories about Black health, resilience, and innovation.

Strategic Opportunities:

  • Interactive content formats (quizzes, live Q&As, polls) could help us drive more engagement and behavioural change, especially among younger audiences.
  • SMS or WhatsApp health updates could serve users who are mobile-first but not newsletter-native.
  • Partnership integrations with influencers, brands, or health orgs at key seasonal moments (e.g. Black Men’s Health Week, Breast Cancer Awareness Month) offer chances for cultural relevance and higher impact.
  • Localized experiences (e.g. city-specific newsletters or event activations) can help us feel even more embedded in the communities we serve.

We already have the presence. The next step is to make each touchpoint feel even more personalised, intuitive, and culturally grounded.
